Polyurethane Foam Concrete Lifting & Leveling
Polyurethane foam injection to raise and level sunken slabs without tearing them out.
Proudly serving Castle Rock, Parker, Highlands Ranch, Colorado Springs, and surrounding communities.
When a driveway, sidewalk, patio, or step has sunk but the concrete itself is still in good shape, you may not need to replace it. Polyurethane foam lifting raises the existing slab back toward level.
We drill small holes through the slab and inject a high-density foam underneath. The foam expands to fill voids, lifts the concrete, and stabilizes the soil below. The holes are then patched.
What's included
- Lifting sunken driveway, sidewalk, and patio slabs
- Leveling uneven slabs and trip hazards
- Raising settled steps and stoops
- Filling voids under slabs caused by erosion or settling
- Small, patched injection holes
- Honest advice when a slab is too damaged to lift
How foam lifting works
- 1
Assess the slab
We check how far the slab has sunk, whether it is cracked, and what caused the settling.
- 2
Drill and inject
Small holes are drilled and polyurethane foam is injected in stages to control the lift.
- 3
Patch and seal
Injection holes are patched and joints can be sealed to help keep water from washing out the base again.
Why polyurethane foam
Compared with traditional mudjacking, polyurethane foam is lightweight, uses smaller holes, and cures quickly, so the area can usually be used again soon after the job. It is also often much less expensive than tearing out and replacing a slab.
Concrete Lifting & Leveling FAQs
What is polyurethane foam concrete lifting?
It is a method of raising sunken concrete by injecting expanding polyurethane foam beneath the slab through small drilled holes. The foam lifts the slab and fills empty spaces in the soil underneath.
How is foam lifting different from mudjacking?
Mudjacking pumps a heavy cement slurry under the slab through larger holes. Polyurethane foam is much lighter, needs smaller holes, and cures faster, so there is less added weight on the soil and less waiting.
Can every sunken slab be lifted?
No. Slabs that are badly broken, crumbling, or heavily cracked usually aren't good candidates. We'll look at it and tell you whether lifting, repair, or replacement makes the most sense.
How soon can I use my driveway after lifting?
Polyurethane foam cures quickly, so foot and vehicle traffic can usually resume shortly after the job. We'll confirm timing for your specific project.
