Decks take a beating at altitude
Strong sun, dry air, and freeze-thaw cycles dry out and crack deck boards faster here than in milder climates. Regular staining or sealing and fixing loose boards and railings early keeps a deck safe and extends its life.

Should I repair or replace my deck?
If the framing is sound, replacing boards and railings is often enough. If the structure itself is damaged or rotted, replacement is usually the safer choice. We'll tell you which applies.
